Finally a closet

Window has been removed and closet is ready. Clothes can be unpacked.

Spring clean up

The yard is getting some much needed attention. While raking, people have stopped by to tell us how happy they are that the buildings are being restored. They have offered to help us and have shared many stories.

Guest room is ready

The bed belonged to my grandmother. The picture on the left of washstand is her wedding picture. The one on the right was taken of her and I, her last Christmas.

This is the same room from the Feb. 7th post.

Trees removed

The buildings can now dry out. They are looking a little bare. Perennial gardens will be planted after buildings are painted.

One more thing checked off the inspection list.

Art work

We found these plaques from Spain in the basement of the rectory. They have found a home on the dining room wall.

The grandkids had an Easter egg hunt  in the church.

Exterior work begins…shrubs cut down, statue cleaned

Floors are finished

Final coat of poly, now we need to wait for them to dry.
