Cold weather is making its mark

After a week of cold…single digits for the highs the church roof is still frosted with snow on the north side. 

The bare spots were raked off.

Winter is here

With the multiple storms and freezing weather projects will need to wait. Keeping driveway, sidewalks and stairs cleaned takes priority. 

Work continues on kitchenette

Walls and ceiling painted, old carpeting taken out and birch hardwood floor refinished, storm window  insert made and installed, cabinets and sink ready to install. 

December 2017 Update

The roof is finished. 

Interior 

Walls are washed and 2 coats of paint on the wood trim.

Beginning first coat of paint on walls..

Another drafty window…

The window served no purpose behind the bedroom door. It was the last remnant of the bathroom that we removed during the upstairs renovations.
